Differentiation with Technology

 Good Afternoon,

Within my lesson, technology will be used in the following ways, I will use them to help my students close the gab between their learning with other classmates. I will make sure that each lesson I give has a technology piece where students will use this in order to complete a lesson objective. Technology such as Chromebook or iPad will be given to each student before the lesson in order to meet the lesson requirements. Based on the lesson that was delivered and revised, I included this as part of each day as well.

Each of these technologies engage students by allowing them to interact with the lesson and communicate with me as the teacher. They also are able to make sure they are completing all their required steps for homework and classwork based on using that technology. I will also ensure that technology is being used appropriately by monitoring high school students during class time to make sure they are staying on the class topic of the day. This is a very hard task to accomplish for high school students but having simple rules in place can help you out as an educator.

Each learning opportunity promotes global awareness or diverse cultural perspectives by making sure they each align directly to the state standards for the state. I take into account the background of my high school students to make sure that I am meeting their needs as well.
